DAY 1: PUERTO MALDONADO / TAMBOPATA NATIONAL RESERVE / SANDOVAL LAKE
Transfer from the airport to our office for the appropriate registers and in order we re-pack if you have lots of luggage. After the transfer to the Port Captain, where we will board our canoe to head down the Madre de Dios River for approximately 45 min, until Sandoval Port, then we will get into TAMBOPATA NATIONAL RESERVE of a walk of   an hour approximately to get to our hostel "Maloka Lodge". Each cabin has private bathrooms and showers.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Lake of Sandoval taking a canoe paddle along the lake, where it is possible to see different types of birds such as Hoatzin (prehistoric bird), herons, Kingfishers, etc. Back to the lodge for diner, after diner we'll visit the Lake again in the canoe with our flashlights or lanterns to see the alligators, they usually marry at night, then we will return to our comfortable hostel for the night.

DAY 2: SANDOVAL LAKE / WALK / BOAT TOUR
In the early morning, we will get up and go with our canoe in search of otters, they usually wake up very early to fish, we will also have the opportunity to see different herons that follow otters to catch some fish trying to escape from the claws of the otters. Then, we will return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, we will take a walk to enjoy the wonderful flora and along the way, you could see some animals such (like) monkeys, deer, wild pigs, tapirs, sloth, etc. Then, we will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, we can swim safely in the Lake of Sandoval, then we gonna visit the lake in a canoe paddle where we gonna paddle to the other side of the lake where we'll have a view of the lake and might enjoy the sunset from a viewpoint. Then, we will return to the lodge for diner. After diner, we will make a night walk where it will possible to see tarantulas, frogs, rodents, night monkeys, etc.

DAY 3: SANDOVAL LAKE / COLLPA DE PALMERAS / PUERTO MALDONADO / AIRPORT
Very early, we will visit the "La Collpa de Palmeras", this is a special place within the Tambopata National Reserve where different species of macaws and parrots gather to eat dried palms that are rich in minerals such as calcium, sodium, potassium, etc. Which is very important for the digestion of the birds. After breakfast, we will go towards the river where we will catch our boat back to Puerto Maldonado and then head to the airport.
