On this trip you will be able to experience some of the great places Cusco has to offer that are not included in the other tourist passes. On this tour you will be able to see many beautiful views like the valley scenery between Yuncaypata, Tambomachay and Sacsayhuaman. From here you can see the view into the sacred valley region and the old Inca trail. The trail leads to Pucamarca and Huchuy Qosqo, a deep Andine Valley. They have archaeological sites just like the 4 archaeological sites from this area. They are: Puca Pucara, Tambomachay, Qenqo, and Sacsayhuaman.

On this day we will meet at the Machu Picchu Hike office at 10:00 am, where we provide transport. From there we would head to the ranch near Qenqo, 2 km from Sacsayhuaman. There you will be assigned a guide that will take you to your horse. The first leg of the horseback riding trip takes us to Qenqo, one of the archeological sites and ends at Sacsayhuaman. During your ride, you will be able to see the amazing view of the ruins. If you want to go an extended ride, (which add 2 more hours), you will ride next to the road until you get to Puca Pucara also known as “La Puerta Roja” another archeological site.  This place was used to enter Cusco in the Incan times.  Next you will visit Tambomachay, also known as “La casa de los baños del Inca”, where Incas would go to worship water. Finally, on both the 2 hour or the 4 hours ride on your way back you will go through a forest full of Eucalyptus trees. Before going back to the ranch you will visit the famous Incan’s temple, The Temple of the Moon, where they would worship the moon. There you will be able to stay and have as much time as you need to enjoy the place.
