DAY 1: PUERTO MALDONADO / TRIP INTO THE JUNGLE / CAMPING / CAMPFIRE
Pick-up from airport or bus terminal and transfer to the river port where we will receive a typical drink of the area and start our trip in a motorboat along the "Madre de Dios river" during the trip we will see the different fluents of "Madre de Dios River": the River Stone, and Pariamanu River, etc. On the way, we will also observe many species of birds like herons, cormorants, wild turkeys, shanshos, vultures, kingfishers, eagles, caracaras, etc., also alligators, turtles and capybaras (the world's largest rodent) sunning on the banks of the river. We will have lunch on board. At the sunset, we will arrive at the camp on the beaches of Pariamanu River. There, we will set up our tents, after dinner we will go with our boat and lanterns looking for caimans (caiman search), they are on the shore along the river, then we will return to the camp and will gather dried sticks to build a campfire where our guides will tell us stories and mystery of the jungle. We will spend the night in our comfortable tents.

DAY 2: MACAW CLAY LICK / SWIMMING IN THE RIVER / WALK / CAMPFIRE
In the morning after our breakfast, we will go to Macaw Clay Lick just 10 minutes from our camp. The lick is located in a primary forest where we guarantee you the best experience of your life. In the macaw clay lick, we could see a colourful spectacle of macaws and parrots eating clay wall from the river wall (the clay is a kind of medicine that is rich in minerals such as calcium, sodium, potassium, etc.) this is a experience you will never forget. After observing the macaw clay lick, we will return to the camp. Then, we will start a walk to see the different species of trees and medicinal plants and timber also visit the lick of mammals where you could see mammals eating clay. Then, we will return to board our boat and return in the direction of the lick of parrots. Upon arrival, we will set up our tents, then we will gather dried sticks to build a fire on the banks of the "Madre de Dios River", this campground has restrooms and showers where you could take a bath and make a night walk, then we gonna spend the night in our comfortable tents.

DAY 3 LODGE / RESERVE NATIONAL TAMBOPATA / LAKE SANDOVAL / CAIMANEO.
Early in the morning, we will pick up the tents and go to see a lick of small parrots and we will see another show with these beautiful parrots. Then, we will have breakfast and head towards Sandoval Lake and from there, we will get to TAMBOPATA NATIONAL RESERVE on a walk of about an hour and arrive to "Mejía Lodge" where we will accommodate ourselves in our comfortable rooms close to Sandoval Lake.
The hostel does not have private bathrooms but shared yes and is within the national reserve what makes it different from other hostels where we guarantee you that you will see more wildlife and being in touch with nature. After installing ourselves, we will visit the Sandoval Lake, taking a canoe paddle along the lake where it is possible to see the giant otter (Wolf River) black caiman, hoatzin, herons, kingfishers, etc. Back to the lodge for diner, after diner we gonna visit the lake again in the canoe with our lanterns or lamps to see the alligators, they usually marry at night, where we will show you and explain you and then return to our comfortable lodge for spending the night.

DAY 4: SANDOVAL LAKE / WALKS / SWIMMING IN THE LAKE / BOAT TOUR
In the very early morning, we will get up and go with our canoe in search of otters, they usually wake up very early to fish, we will also have the opportunity to see different herons that follow otters to catch some fish trying to escape the claws of the otters. Then, we will return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, we will make a walk to enjoy the wonderful flora and along the way you could see some animals (such) like monkeys, deer, wild Canchos, tapirs, sloth, etc. Then, we will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, we can safely take a bath in Sandoval Lake, then we will visit the Lake in a canoe paddle where we gonna paddle to the other side of the Lake where we will have a view of the lake and could enjoy the sunset. Then, we will return to the lodge for diner. After diner, we will tell stories and legends of the jungle, then we will go to our rooms for the night.

DAY 5: COLLPA DE PALMERAS / PUERTO MALDONADO / AIRPORT
We will get up early to see the "Collpa de Palmeras", this is a special place within the reserve where different species of macaws and parrots gather to eat dried palm trees that are rich in minerals (such) like calcium, sodium, potassium, etc. Which is very important for the digestion of the birds. After breakfast, we will leave towards the river where we will catch our boat back to Puerto Maldonado and then head to the airport.
