In the magical city of Cusco, we celebrate the festivities of the Machu Picchu Tour & Inti Raymi (The Festivities of the Sun), which is an ancestral celebration shared by generations of Incas and Quechuas. In the past, in the eve of the celebration there was a gathering in the plaza of the most important personalities form the Incan Empire like generals, princes and the Incan Emperor. They waited in the dark watching the sky for the sun to rise. This great Incan festivity was celebrated in gratefulness to the sun for helping humans with their crops and they ask the Pacha Mama (mother earth) that she continues fertilizing their crops and providing wellness to everyone in Tahuantinsuyo. “It is a communication in between the human and the divine”.
